Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav 15th August, 2022 Secondary section
Freedom is never given, it is won. We earned our freedom through years of struggle. And as we complete 75 years of freedom the Sarasvis marked the 76th Independence Day with an energetic and vibrant start by conducting a Prabhat Pheri with Grade V. The Guest of Honor was Mr.Vishwas Govind Chavan an Ex-Service man of the Indian Army force. Sarasvis were fortunate to felicitate such a benevolent person who had given his best contribution in serving the country. The Chairperson and administrator of the Trust, Madam Korde hoisted the flag followed with the melodious singing of the National Anthem and Flag Song. Various colorful performances like group singing, group dance and orchestra were performed from Jr.KG to Grade XII . Each participant performed with great pride in their heart and joy in their voice. Throughout the week each grades conducted competitions celebrating the week of 75 years of the Amrit Mahotsav and the winners were felicitated on this day. The Principal Mrs. Anita Pinto addressed the gathering by inspiring everyone to cherish this moment of freedom as well as be grateful to those who had scarified their lives to keep our Tri-color flying high. The Chairperson and administrator of the Trust, Madam Korde also expressed her views and acknowledged the efforts of each an every Sarasvi. The program left everyone with high energies of patriotism. With this the ceremony came to an end with a happy note.
