Oath Taking Ceremony of Senior School Council
The impressive Qath Taking Ceremony at Saraswati Vidyalalya on 1st July,2023
Deserving, young talents of Saraswati Vidyalaya High School and Junior
College Rabodi, Thane ,were bestowed with the responsibility of
leading their school from the front with their commitment, confidence
and competence on 1 st of July on the occasion of Oath Taking Ceremony
in the school premises.
Saraswati Vidyalaya aims at nurturing their
students, giving them a glimpse of civic rights by conducting elections,
choosing a leader amongst them and working in a democracy. The
school held Oath taking Ceremony with great enthusiasm. This
ceremony marked a significant beginning of the academic year. It was a
solemn occasion where the young students were all prepared to don
the mantle of leadership and discharge the responsibilities entrusted
upon them by the school.
The event began with an impressive parade
presented by the students, with the warm welcoming of the Chief
Guest Assistant Police Inspector Prashant Jadhav from Rabodi Police
station, Thane and all the Dignitaries. On this day the leaders from the
Junior and Senior council were decorated with a ceremonial badge and
a sash and sworn in with the formal oath. On this occasion the students
of grade 6th to 11th who have excelled with 80%; above in their final
exams were awarded with an Excellentia badge and a certificate which
signifies students hard work and academic Brilliance. Parents of the
newly elected Senior School Games Captain spoke on this occasion and
appreciated the institution for imbibing confidence and discipline in the
students.
Addressing the students the Chief Guest lauded the
achievements of the school on all fronts and emphasized the
importance of team spirit and need to motivate fellow students. He
suggested ways in which the students could better themselves by
making use of the opportunities provided to them by the school, which
on its part left no stone unturned in instilling values such as hard work,
discipline, diligence and commitment in its students. The Principal
Mrs.Anita Pinto expressed her views and praised the efforts of the
council teachers, teachers, students and all the hands behind the
scenes for putting up a wonderful program. The impressive program
was witnessed by the parents of new inductees, students and staff.
