Pre-Primary School Inauguration Day 2023

On 1st October, 2023, Sunday, Sarasvis celebrated the 33rd inauguration day of Saraswati Vidyalaya High School Jr. College of Science. On this auspicious day, goddess Saraswati, the Deity of knowledge, speech and wisdom was worshiped whole heartily by the school management in the presence of the admin staff and teachers. 1st October, being a Sunday, all the events to be conducted on account of inauguration day were conducted on 30th September, Saturday. In various different cultural and art competitions Young minds of Sarasvis displayed their talent. Competitions like T-Shirt painting, Best out of waste, Lantern making, Mehendi art, Rangoli making, were conducted. The programme also involved our little ones of Pre - Primary participating in Origami, Drawing Colouring competition. Our culture was rejuvenated. The students participating in these competitions tried to convey a social message through their artworks. Various concepts like Chandrayaan 3, Eye donation, Say no to plastic, Swachha Bharat Abhiyan. Our school also participated in the initiative, THANE VISION 2030, organized by Thane Vaibhav. Accordingly a drawing competition was conducted with the motive to brainstorm the young generation to develop the glorious city of lakes – Thane. The themes of the competition were education, art and culture, sports, science and technology, infrastructure, health, environment, tourism, etc. Students were provided with refreshments in the recess. The day was concluded on a nostalgic note.
