DAHI HANDI CELEBRATION 2018

Monday, 4th September 2018 was a fun filled day at Saraswati Vidyalaya, Rabodi, Thane (west). It was time for the Dahi Handi Celebration.

A party ambience was created in the school- with colourful bunting of flags, attractive pots (handi) and a music system to drive the rhythm. The whole school celebrated Dahi Handi- right from our toddlers to our grown up children. The upbeat mood for the Dahi Handi Celebration was all set by foot tapping songs and the festive wear in which the young students were decked up. The little ‘Gwalas’ were too thrilled to break the handi with the help of the school staff. The little Krishnas danced joyfully with their friends to their heart’s content as they cheerfully said, “Govinda Ala Re Ala!”

At Saraswati Vidyalaya, we strive to create memories for children. Events like these form a part of the chain of memories which students cherish for life…….
