English and Marathi Elocution Competition 2023
Our school Saraswati Vidyalaya organized an Jr and Sr House English and Marathi Elocution Competition on 31 st of August 2023 in order to instill confidence in students and encourage them to learn the “The Art of Public Speaking. The competition was organized in our school at Mayur Manch. The Program began with Welcome speech welcoming the Dignatries, Judges for the competition and the participants. Clarifying the rules of the competition students were given 3 minutes to speak on the selected topic. The Judges for the competition were Mrs Shaan Nawar and Mrs Gauri Sawant for English Elocution competition and Mrs. Sandhya Deshmukh and Mrs Rekha Nalawade for Marathi Elocution Competition. One by One students delivered their thoughts and the Best Four students from Jr.House and Best Two students from Std VIII, IX, X and XI and XII standard respectively were declared winners for the Competition. The Judges and the Principal Mrs Anita Pinto while addressing the students pointed out that students should be more confident , not to get nervous and should have been more clear and loud to make their speeches more impactful.. They also said competitions like this instill confidence and enhance various communication skills among the student.
