Kargil Vijay Diwas Celebrated at Saraswati Vidyalaya on 26 th July,2024

Kargil Vijay Diwas was Celebrated at Saraswati Vidyalaya on 29 th July 2024 to commemorate the victory of the Indian Soldiers and to honour their sacrifices in the Kargil War in 1999. The war was also known as Operation Vijay.

The program was wonderfully organised by the Prabhav Defence Motivation Centre at the MayurManch. The stage was decorated and the ‘Amar Jawan Jyoti’ was set up as a tribute to our soldiers of our country. The program commenced with the arrival of dignitaries and their welcome followed by the series of events. The commanders of the Prabhav Academy along with our Principal Mrs. Anita Pinto and Mrs. PoonamBhoglepaid a tribute to our Soldiers by placing a garland of flowers on the “Amar Jawan Jyoti’. The commanders of the Prabhav Defence Academy displayed their immerse patriotism and a token of respect to the soldiers by saluting the Amar Jawan Jyoti with a rifle drill. The 2 nd & 3 rd year students of the Prabhav Defence Academy performed an astonishing drill of bayonet fighting.The cadets of PDMC then sung a mesmerizing PDMC song. A video representation of the Kargil war was displayed. Further the Principal Mrs. Anita Pinto spoke about the brave warriors who won the Kargil battle and its necessity to know the same. The program concluded with a vote of thanks.
