Primary section Dahi Handi Celebration

Saraswati Vidyalaya hosted a vibrant and exhilarating 'Dahi Handi Celebration' on the school premises on August 28th to mark the festival of Janmashtami, which commemorates the birth of Lord Krishna. The event was filled with excitement, enthusiasm and a spirit of teamwork. Dahi Handi, a traditional activity recreates the playful spirit of Lord Krishna, who is fondly known as “Makhan Chor”.

All Primary section students came in traditional attires and it made the atmosphere colourful. Students formed pyramids attempting to break the Handi. The atmosphere was charged with energy as the students showcased their strength, agility and coordination while trying to reach the Handi .Teachers and students cheered and encouraged them to do their best. Hit songs and catchy music was played and students were drenched with water. All students danced on the beats to their hearts content.

The Dahi Handi event highlighted the values of unity, teamwork and perseverance among the students. Overall, the Dahi Handi celebration was a great success, and an enriching experience filled with fun for all participants.
