Investiture Ceremony-An Enthralling Occasion At Saraswati Vidyalaya on 6 th July,2024, Saturday.

The momentous day of Investiture Ceremony dawned to bestow the responsibilities on the deserving, young talents of Saraswati Vidyalaya High School and Junior College Rabodi, Thane ,to lead their school from the front with their commitment, confidence and competence on 6 th of July,Saturday,2024 on the occasion of Investiture Ceremony in the school premises. Saraswati Vidyalaya aims to inculcate the values of democratic means in its students, giving them a glimpse of civic rights by conducting elections, choosing a leader amongst them and working in a democracy. The school held Investiture Ceremony with great enthusiasm. This ceremony marked a prestigious beginning of the academic year in which the student leaders were officially given the roles of responsibility and authority in the school. The event began with a grand parade presented by the students, with the warm welcoming of the Chief Guest Mr.Sandesh Gavand Assistant Police Inspector from Rabodi Police station, Thane and all the Dignitaries. On this occasion the leaders from the Junior and Senior council were conferred with the ceremonial badges and the sashes and sworn in with the formal oath. On this occasion the students of grade 6th to 11 th , who had excelled in academics as well as in sports and co-curricular activities were awarded with the General Proficiency badges and the certificates which signifies students’ hard work and academic Brilliance. The scholarship holders were also honored. The one of the Parents of the newly elected Senior School Games Captain spoke on this occasion and appreciated the institution for imbibing confidence and discipline in the students. Addressing the students, the Chief Guest congratulated the newly elected leaders for their achievements and advised them to be impartial and honest in discharging their duties. He also motivated the students to make the best use of the opportunities provided to them by the school, which is the best way to instill the values like hard work, discipline, diligence and commitment in its students. The Chairperson and CEO Mrs. M.S.Korde and the Administrator Mrs. Manjusha Ballal wished the new council members to solemnly take their duties and responsibilities with utmost dedication and diligence. The Principals Mrs.Anita Pinto and Mrs. Poonam Bhogle also congratulated the newly elected council and insisted on to keep up the good spirit despite of all the obstacles and challenges that life brings in front of them. The dedicated efforts of the council teachers, teachers, students and all the hidden hands behind the scenes were praised for presenting a wonderful program. The grand occasion was witnessed by the parents of new inductees, students and staff.
