Building Skills, Strengthening Bonds Standard IX Scout Guide Camp 2025

Saraswati Vidyalaya, Rabodi, Thane successfully organized a Scout Guide Camp on 24th February 2025 in the School premises, fostering teamwork, discipline and hands on skills among the students.

The Camp began with flag hoisting ceremony symbolizing unity and commitment to the values of the Scouting and Guiding. The key highlight of the Camp was tent pitching, Knot training where essential knots like reef knot, bowline and clove hitch were practiced , which are useful for various scouting activities . The First Aid training session was equally important, teaching students how to handle medical emergencies and manage wound effectively.

The students decorated their tents, where creativity and neatness was encouraged. The tents were inspected by the Scout and Guide Masters. Another enriching experience was cooking without fire, where students prepared delicious and nutritious meals using innovative methods. The camp concluded on a high note with a Cultural program, where participants showcased their talents adding joy and camaraderie to the camp experience.

The winners for Best Patrol, Best Scout Boy, Best Guide Girl and winners of Best tent decoration , cooking without fire and winners of the Cultural Programme were declared by our Principal Mrs. Poonam Bhogle and Prizes were given away by Co-ordinator Mr.Kapil Kulkarni , Head of Admin Department Mrs. Devyani Shukla and Mr.Vinayak Shinde.
