Sanskrit Shloka Recitation Competition

“उद्यमेन हि सिध्यन्ति कार्याणि न मनोरथैः।”

The final round of the prestigious Inter-School Sanskrit Shloka Recitation Competition, organized by the Rotary Club of Thane East, was held on 2nd September 2026. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from nearly 30 schools across Thane.

Displaying exceptional pronunciation, rhythm and confidence, Master Chetas Sarode of Class VIII-B from Saraswati Vidyalaya, Rabodi, Thane, secured the First Prize. He was felicitated for his outstanding performance and presented with a trophy, a certificate and books.

Adding to the school’s pride, the Rotary Club also honoured the school and the guiding teachers with Certificates of Appreciation for their dedication, guidance and active participation in the competition.

The achievement is a proud moment for Saraswati Vidyalaya and reflects the students’ talent, hard work and the continuous encouragement and guidance provided by their teachers.
