Design Your Book Cover Competition of Grade 3

‘Imagination is a superpower that shapes the future’

"Design Your Book Cover" an innovative competition was successfully organized for the students of Grade III on 10th August 2026. The aim of the competition was to encourage creativity, imagination and a love for books among young learners, while also linking art with their academic subjects.

The competition was conducted subject-wise. Each section was allotted a different subject to design the cover for:

• III A – Mathematics
• III B – Marathi
• III C – Social Studies
• III D – Performing Arts
• III E – Physical Education

The students participated with great enthusiasm. Using different colors, sketches, collage and decorative materials, they designed attractive and meaningful book covers related to their allotted subjects. Many students came up with innovative ideas like number patterns for Maths, folk art for Marathi, monuments & space for Social Studies, musical instruments for Performing Arts, and sports equipment for Physical Education.

Class teachers guided the students to maintain creativity, neatness, relevance to the subject, and overall presentation. The classroom environment was vibrant and full of artistic energy.

The competition not only gave students a chance to showcase their talent but also helped them connect better with their subjects in a fun and creative way. All participants were appreciated for their impressive work.

The event concluded on a joyful note, with a smile on every child’s face. It was a memorable day that celebrated the creativity of Grade III students. It motivated and inspired them to explore the world of books with new excitement.
