The investiture ceremony held at S.V.P.T's Saraswati Vidyalaya, Rabodi
on 15th June' 24 was a solemn yet celebratory occasion, marking the
investiture of new student leaders who will bear the responsibility of
guiding their peers and upholding the values of the school. The
ceremony was a reflection of the school's commitment to nurturing
leadership qualities and promoting student governance. The ceremony
commenced with the dignified arrival of esteemed guest our own ex
sarasvi Miss. Hardika Khanvilkar - Sub-lieutenant in Indian Navy Force,
CEO and chairperson, administrators, principals, coordinators, teachers
of our sister concerned GB road school and invited parents. The
atmosphere was charged with anticipation and excitement as everyone
gathered for the proceedings. The event began with the rendition of
the school song, resonating with pride and unity among students and
guests alike. This was followed by a warm welcome speech delivered by
the Jr. outgoing Vice-captain of the student council reflected on their
term of office, highlighting achievements and sharing words of wisdom
for their successors. The introduction of dignitaries followed, where
each guest was acknowledged for their support and encouragement
towards the school's initiatives and student leadership development.
The criteria for the selection of the student council members were then
outlined, emphasizing merit, leadership potential, and commitment to
service. The outgoing captain's speech was a poignant moment, as they
handed over the mantle of responsibility to the newly appointed
leaders amidst applause and encouragement from the audience. The
principal delivered the oath of office to newly appointed leaders. They
pledged to carry out their duties with honesty, fairness, and dedication.
Each leader received their badge of office and took a solemn vow to
uphold the principles of the school and work tirelessly for the welfare
of their fellow students.The incoming captain delivered an inspiring
speech, outlining their vision and goals for the upcoming term, amidst
applause and encouragement from peers and guests.
The announcement of council incharge teachers and house masters
followed, underscoring the crucial role of faculty mentors in guiding
and supporting the student council throughout their tenure. A special
mention was made to felicitate the parents of the council members,
acknowledging their unwavering support and encouragement. The
ceremony continued with the announcement of the School Councillium
and Ad-Hoc Committee, aimed at fostering a collaborative approach to
addressing school-related issues and initiatives. Recognition was also
given to students who excelled in various fields through the
announcement of Excellentia awards and student of the year. The
Principal delivered an insightful address, emphasizing the importance of
leadership, responsibility, and teamwork within the school community.
This was followed by speeches of Administrator, chief guest, CEO and
chairperson, who shared inspiring anecdotes and encouraged students
to strive for excellence in their endeavors.
The ceremony culminated with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to
all participants, organizers, and supporters who contributed to the
success of the event. It served as a platform to honour the past,
celebrate the present, and inspire the future leaders of tomorrow. The
national anthem was sung in unison, marking the formal conclusion of
the investiture ceremony.
